I've noticed a little "pop" in my steering wheel lately, about 3 o'clock. I've been checking things out and noticed something odd. If I have someone hold the wheel in place, and I turn the rag joint shaft, it move a couple millimeters, I tried this on my '77 column assembly and there is no play. If you turn the wheel back and forth over that point, you can hear a click in the column. This play is not coming from the steering box, but somewhere inside the column itself, any suggestions?
