has anyone ever thought about making a plexiglass/lexan rear window for their mav? not saying im gonna try it but i thought the idea was interesting, i see them for cobra R's all the time and have always wondered about them. compared to reagular glass would they leak in the rain and would it be hard to tint being that its so flexible?

    :hmmm:

Curved lexan (The back light is curved glass) Will distort what you see when you look through it. That said it is more rigid than plexi glass,it wont distort. You can tint it with film like you would glass. If its the same thickness as the glass and fits in the weather stripping as the glass does...It wont leak...As for lightweight...Depends on what you get...

Scratches pretty easy and the sun here will make it look like newer car headlights! Unless you're a racer, I wouldn't bother! :2cents:
