I know this question has come up in the past, but we have a lot of new members coming "on board" all the time. I thought it was time to go fishing for feedback again (in other words, I'm planning to buy some bushings myself real soon). If you've bought polyurethane bushings (and/or a front end rebuild kit) for your Mav, how 'bout sharing where you got them, how the installation went, and how they work for you. Any other comments welcome too. Thanks in advance for any input. Sincerly; John B.
John B, I have replaced some of my bushings w/ poly bushings. It made a big difference as far as ride and noise and wear. I ordered mine through Summit. They dont have them listed so you have to call up and ask for part #s for your specific car. I think youll really like them too. 74Maverick, Thom
John, have the front end kit, waiting for a rainy weekend! BUT, I did install all new bushings in the rear, shackles, front eye etc.. LOVE EM! tightened up the body roll very nicely.Scotty
I sed the PST front end kit. A little harsh for an everyday driver but it feels much better than stock. The best way to explain how it feels is; like there's about 60 psi of air in the front tires. I like it. Now I just need to do the rear. Russ
