Where can I get polyurethane motor mounts for my 1971 (302 block) Maverick? I'm running a stroker and stainless radiator hoses, i can't have it move much. any comments would be good. I've heard we can get the polyurethane tranny mounts from summit for the mustangs, but what about the motor?

    does anyone make them?

and what if i used all 3 polyurethane.....too little flex?

    would these work? prothane http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=PTP%2D6%2D1904&N=700+4294908331+4294925080+4294840126+4294925130+115&autoview=sku

Maverick mounts are unique as far as I know.
I have tried Stang engine mounts and they are taller in such a way that they don't line up with our frame stands.
Anyway, I know this doesn't help much, I don't know where to get what you want.
    I do have ideas though...

I drilled a hole through the middle of mine, both pcs of steel and rubber, then put a bolt through with poly nut on the bottom. This ties everything together so the rubber can't separate. I have heard some mounts come with this feature already. I guess you could go to the parts house and see if their mounts have the mod already done.
That way you know it will never pull apart and mess up your stuff.

The other option would be to use early (pre-65) Stang/Falcon mounts and frame stands. They are a vertical iron stand with a single bolt engine mount.
They fit our cars and are supposed to be the trick way for more header clearance and may be stronger. The ones I have seen were stout. The single bolt comes out of the steel, and is wrapped in rubber. Rather than being 2 pcs like our mounts.

    Good luck
    Dave

    PS
There is a type of adjustable poly mount for Stangs that is supposed to fit our cars.
Forgot about those... Probably because they run 250-350 bux!!! Depending on which brand you get and where you get them.

Here's some with the bolt going through.
There is a rubber washer under the head of the bolt...
I didn't do that... mine are really solid, the rubber doesn't do alot.

I wouldn’t run polyurethane transmission mount along with solid or polyurethane motor mounts. Good chance of cracking a transmission or bellhousing. I drilled 2 holes in each motor mount and ran bolts through them. This stops the engine from twisting/lifting from the torque and still gives you less harshness than what poly mounts give. http://1bad6t.com/motormounts.html
