learned something about powder coating I didn't know. there is a power coat primer... it's for priming nicks and scratches in metal before the finish coat...also a filler for deep scratches. I took some pics of them doing a motorcycle front fender. the fender was powder coated, pulled from the oven and while still hot the primer was dusted on the scratches. it would melt from the heat. as the fender cooled the powder would not melt so they stuck it back into the oven and brought it back up to temp to melt the next applied primer. after the fender cooled they would block sand the primer down and put the finish coat on... they are doing a special project for me...(needing filler and primer) pics. later
if the metal is straight and they sand blast the part you wont see any scratches or imperfections the powder coating hides it like paint if applied nice and heavy
