Hello everybody, a few days ago while driving home I heard a horrible noise in a parking lot so I stopped to check it out. I found that my drop bracket for the power steering was laying on the groud. It had evidently pulled out the two bottom bolts and broke the top bolt. Now there is only a spot for one bolt to hold it on, and that isn't going to work. What are my options now? Should I weld the bracket to the frame?

Get a new bracket (if it is bent/broken), remove the broken bolts and remount it in the proper place with some grade eight bolts that almost bottom in the bolt holes.

Tear off all the power steering stuff and throw it away. Tighter steering with a manual system anyway...and no leaks.
