power steering

    what cars came with power steering? my 76 was originally a I6 and had no power steering.

    My guess is it depends on how it was ordered, my 71 has power steering.

    My '77 I6 has power steering.

    It was an option back in the 70's on these cars

    Mines a 73 with a l6 and has power steering...Though I kinda wished it was manual.......If you want power but have manual i would be happy to trade you the parts

    well im putting a 302 in the car idk if it is a good idea to upgrade?....

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Its mostly personal preference...I prefer manual steering...I guess the power steering in our cars is a love it or hate it kind of thing. I personally find it too soft and lacking road feel...They tend to leak too...A LOT...Good luck
