Problem with my lights pls help

    1977,maverick 4 door with auto and original 302, and a 1971 maverick 2 door with 170 six cylinder
    i have a 71 maverick , my blinkers and flashers wont work and i have also noticed when i push the brakes the yellow marker light on the front passenger side lights up along with both of the flasher indicator lights on the dash. has anyone had this prob, or do you know where i should start, i just got the car so i dont know much about it, its my second maverick. i kinda thought it may be a ground issue but i just dont know where to start pls help.:cry:

    I can't say I've had that problem as I have not started on my 72 Mav yet but to me it sounds like the typical Ford Grounding problem.
    Start at the battery ground, clean it and inspect the cable. If any doubt replace it. Check any and all grounds to the engine block, block to body, every light socket to body and so on so forth.
    A bad ground will cause all KINDS of weird problems.
