10/3/04 Hope you've had a chance to check out my 74 comet on DriversLicenseTraining.com. History: I've had it since 1990 and used it for a while as a driver education car with six (6) cylinder. It started out as an Army OD Green Comet. Then, one day I had a complaint from a student that I was using a jalopy for a driver education car and so I started to make improvements a little bit at a time. Now, I really don't know what else to put on it. Improvements to date: - 1994: Painted white with red stripes - 2003: Painted white with magenta stripes - 89 Mustang HO Motor - 5 speed Transmission - Front Spoiler with striping - Apache Adjustable Rear Spoiler - AMX Type Hood Scoop with wire mesh from Pontiac Fiero - Trans Am Side Scoops - Corvette electric antenna - PIAA lights with black mesh guard (not shown) - Purple scoop light (looks cool at night) - Air dam floresant light - Purple lights for Trans Am side scoops - Early seventies rear bumper and painted white to match - Individual colored switches for lights mentioned above - Hood tach (pontiac hood tach and painted magenta as on stripes -not shown) -Flowmasters -Two pairs of chrome splitters Working on................ -Custom dash panel with custom instruments -Improved seating -sound insulation -I can't think of anything else to put on it! I actually like my Comet better than my 69 GTO (judge clone with 455).
