Now that summer is winding down a little, I've been able to get back on the body work. Front repairs and rust eradication / prevention is complete. Paint and putting all the suspension back on is next. Once again, I used Rust Bullet. I really like that stuff. Here are a couple of pics.
Thanks all! It is painstaking work to detail every nook and cranny. But in the end it will be worth it to know that once it is all bolted back together that there will be little chance of rust starting to grow in all the hidden spots. I will be doing this process to the entire chassis. Dennis, this is brushed on, 2 coats. It can be sprayed as well, but with a brush you can push the product into all the little tight spots and seems. The front took 1 quart to do. I'll be finish painting with the spray gun in semi gloss black. Eric J
