    OK.. for all of you that want to know.. today is a monumental day for me.. today is the first day that my maverick rolled out of the garage in two years on its own power. i even took it for a spin around the block. she drives fabulous. i have rebuilt the engine and put a rebuilt trans in. i am so happy.. snapped a few pics for ya'll. thank you to everyone who gave me advice and to the forum for being here for the information

    Missing my old '70 Maverick
    Congratualtions. A LOT of us know how 'monumental' it is to finally get the car to move under its own power.
