I agree with Pasc, depends on what color you paint the car. The Stallion graphic is very cool, but the outer edges are a medium red color, so make sure that the body color accents that instead of fighting it, or the "cool factor" will be compromised....

Also, if you use the decals from Phoenix, they are very different than the originals. These are "printed" on a "clear" overlay. If it were me, I would carefully trim as much of the "clear" vinyl away from the edges before applying it to the car.

    That's my two cents....

I suggest using small bumpers in this conversion, black them out too.

How cool would it be for a separate Maverick Club to spin off called
    Wyld Stallions!!

That would be most Excellent Ted,

hmmm, idk, im kinda on the fence about this one

then again everyonece in a while youll see some half a$$ maverick on ebay with a stallion sticker and it looks like crap, but i guess if you can make the car look cool with out the emblem it'll look even better with it

but i never know where to draw the line when it comes to clones, espically customized clones. iam leaning towards a two-tone paint job rather then all black if you do go for it.

    either way, good luck

I like the idea of a Black Stallion. I would keep it two tone using satin black and gloss black. Then I would use a satin black and dark gray monochromatic Stallion emblem on the glossy fender, kind of a ghost decal. It would be a mean looking nod to a Stallion without trying to be a Stallion. I think the real decal is way to obnoxious on anything but a real Stallion.:thumbs2:

Here is another idea. You could just put the Stallion head on. It's a cool graphic, and would be unique if used without the other elements, and it simplifies the design. I have re-created the entire graphic in Adobe Illustrator, so I could send you the file and you could either have a vinyl graphic made at any sign shop, or have a template made and paint it on the car. Let me know if you need any help.
