Project Tijuana taxi "tribute car"

Been pretty quiet on this one been working on the final plan there eill be some variances from the real thing due to my personal tastes and driving asthetics but should pay homage to the real deal.

Driveline = stock 6cyl nothing special just a few pep up goodies.

Today it is in paint and figured it was time to make a thread since this is only a cosmetic project it will remain a driver car. I had to do some body work but the car is solid as a rock keeping this in mind it is not perfect nor intended to be think driver...

the color is new holland tractor blue in a single stage enamel it was the closest eyeball match i could find for the color, laying the white panels this weekend

Ive got so much to do to it before somerset i still havent drove it since its little overheating incedent on its last roadtrip

 

And don't forget to bring the stuff to work on the spoilers once you get there.

How are you going to do the white? Vinyl? Would it have been easier to paint the sides white first?
Over the years, someone has always said they were going to do it, but it's never actually been done. I can't wait to see it.
