Wow, that tag is awesome! That's like.. undeniable proof. Looks like it actually has two tags, what's on the other one above it?

I didn't notice the other one until you said that. But I thought the one shown was pretty bare, it didn't say anything about the interior. If you don't order a Marti Report for your car I will!! I'd love to see what it says. Anyway you look at it, it's a special order car, for some reason, very special!!

Deffintly an odd ball car.... try and keep the Paint in the trunk up around speaker area original and Have a paint shop Match up that paint as close as possible, so you can have the exact original color, usually just giving them a paint code the paints usually off a bit... they can tint the paint and get a perfect Match.

jamie the other tag says std. flr. witch i take to mean standard floor because it only has a rubber or vinyl flooring no carpet.
dave i do plan on getting a marti soon just dont know when i will post it as soon as i get it spent too much money in florida now i have to recoup some cash.
mavtricks i plan on tacking a chip to the local paint store we have a ppg suppier in town and my daughters boyfriend works there.

I got so excited about those tags, I forgot to finished what I was going to say:

Those door panels are probably the most common panels out there for these cars, being that they were probably on the vast majority of '70-'72 Mavericks and Comets. Would probably be easier to just find another set then to try and save those, they look pretty far gone. The passenger side might be salvageable, worth taking a heat gun to it and see what you can do. I'm sure someone one here has another set laying around.

Wow...two body buck tags for the same car.....very cool.

STD and FLR should mean standard trans and floor shift....I think

    OK,
    0833 is the rotation number
    485000....no idea
    F is the line
    25006 is the Serial Number
MV 62A is the body type, (matches up with the info on the build sheet)
02 ?? I have no idea, may have been the shift?
STD will be the seats, Standard
FLR, should be floor shift (I have 2 74 tags that say "FLR" and both were flr shift)
L would be the paint color, but since your car isn't Lt. Gray Mt...I would say the other tag supercedes that...
    BLK is the interior color...
(I've been collecting tags for years)

If the interior has never been out, it should be under the floor covering, or the front seat, have a look in the seat springs.
