    "Dose"?
Wouldn't it be easier to just call your local auto service center and ask them what the Arizona emissions requirements are?....

Did you go to a public school?....

It would take a lot of money to beat a standard, good running, 5.0 Mustang. Nothing you bolt on would do it. I have no clue about AZ emission laws, but if they have them, you can bet you will probably have to keep the stuff on your car. Most inspections include a visual inspection to make sure it is there. As far as bumper conversions, do a search. I wrote an article on the conversion and it is on this web sight somewhere.

Yup ... this is the internet. You are not judged by color, creed, being ugly or good looking or fat or skinny. You are 100% judged by your grasp of the English language. Keep that in mind ....

go to the top of the page where it says search. click on that and type in small bumper conversion. lots of info there. i have no idea about the emissions inspections as i live in arizona city and we don't have emission inspections.:)

If that's your Maverick, I don't think beating it with a sledghammer will make it fast enough to beat a 5.0, and it's not the correct way to do a bumper conversion.

(hint: Posting a video of a Maverick being destroyed by a bunch of yahoos won't score you any popularity or goodwill on a Maverick/Comet board)

I live in Goodyear, AZ and YES, your Maverick will have to pass emissions here. When I went to have mine tested a few months ago, they never checked under the hood. That could be because it is a 1971 year and has no smog items on it. You would be taking a chance removing your smog stuff. As far as going faster, you might want to check out www.fordsix.com

Good luck...did they offer English classes where you went to school? Just curious...
