Several members of this board suggested ordering a 64-73 Mustang front end "master rebuild kit" From American Pony. I ordered one today, but they asked me what year Mustang, 64-65. 66, 67-70, or 71-73. --Those were my choices. I went a head and ordered the Master Rebuild Kit for 71-73 thinking the parts may be similar since I have a 71 Maverick. They also asked me what sway bar bushing size, 3/4 or 1". I asked them if I could get 7/8" sway bar fittings and they said "sure." So, with that said SHOULD I BE OK WITH THIS KIT? --DID I ORDER THE CORRECT KIT?

If you have experiece with this kit / company please let me know if I need to call and have them adjust my order before it ships out tomorrow sometime.--Thanks for all the help.--Dan

I used the board's search engine for "American Pony" and found that Craig S. (who should know) sez,

"You can get pre-assembled upper a-arms that already come with a new ball joint and the shafts already installed. You can get a kit from American Pony. Tell them you have a 1972 Mustang. Same as a Maverick."

The 72 Mustang kit is what I ordered. One of these days I will put it on... :)

Mine is on the car...but no engine is in the car...so I have no real insight other than to say it all bolted right in.

In that case, would coil springs from a 72 mustang fit on my 72 Mav. I think Eibach makes progressive rate drop springs for the 72 stang.

I ordered springs meant for a 67-70 stang and they bolted right in. I don't think Eibach makes em anymore, I have Eibach 620s on my 69 stang that I bought 6 years ago, so I tried to buy em again and they are no longer available, per the tech at Eibach. No worries, as all the good Mustang places have 620s that are good.
