raceing stripes:yes or no

    i got a 74 mav im painting it the orignal color which is like a milk chocolate brown but i want to put like a saddle color or like a copper color or maybe you can think better idk but i want ur opinion

    I'm not a fan of stripes much, but Grabber style might look ok in a contrasting color.

    If I was committed to that color combo and I wanted to go two-tone, I wouldn't do stripes. I would paint the lighter color on the roof, like a vinyl top without the vinyl. Or maybe do the roof, trunk, hood and upper fenders in that high beltline scheme that seems to be popular lately. I could see that color combo looking really good, just not in stripes.

    personally i wouldnt put "racing stripes" or lemans stripes on a big bumper maverick, go for that sleeper look or try playing with the grabber stripes that run down the sides. just my opinion
