Ranchero disc brakes?

    The Dude, in his typical awesome fashion, has found a 72 Ranchero with front disc brakes. Now, I've read here on the boards that Rancheros up to 71 are a direct fit but will the 72's fit my 73's front? Is it modifiable or should I keep looking?

    Also it's apparently a GT, does that make a difference?

    I won't say it will not work but I think it would take a lot to make it happen. The 72 Ranchero is a totally different animal than the 71. The front suspension is completely different.
