Re-attaching Chrome Trim

    Probably a stupid question, but remember, I have always said I am not a "body work" type of gal.

    before I "carefully" remove the chrome trim that sits on the door (at the bottom of the window). What do you use to glue it back down after you paint it. Not that we are going to painting anytime soon, but one side is already loose and thought I would take it off before it gets lost or damaged.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    The trim is clipped to the door. It also has a fastener at each end. Look at the inner face of the door,you will see a small nut at each end.
