Before i ask and get flamed, I have looked, keep finding conflicting answers.
Question: Is there a rear adjustable shock that will bolt to the stock mounts for a 1974 Maverick, If yes could i get the part # and a place they can be bought.
P.S. I have the KONI # 801311, But cant seem to locate any info on the specks or availability. Thanks in advance

    Personally, I run the QA1's.

Each setup is different so my PN might not have the right travel that you need.

I'd undo at least one end of your shocks then measure the distance from the top mounting eyelet to the bottom mounting eyelet, then go to QA1's webpage (http://www.carrerashocks.com/) and see what they offer in your range.

You might need to get an eyelet adapter to fit your application also (they offer those too).

KONI contact is Hebron, KY 41048

    Fax +1 859 3343340 Mail: info@koni-na.com

They should be able to tell you about your current shocks.

    Good luck.

Ha! Got 'em back Friday. The pitting of the Al heads (outside the seal ring) was thought to be from the lack of a good ground (believable scenario). I also found my valve springs will allow a .600" total lobe lift. I've contacted Comp Cams and am waiting for them to give me a price on their cam and their advice on what to re-stall my connverter to - to match said cam. Sorry - back on topic.

I dont think ther is a bolt on adj rear shock for our cars. I have Hurst drag shocks they are a bolt on 2 way adj. Street/Drag. But they havnt made them in a million years or so, luckally mine still work good.
