    wondering whether to paint this panel black the color of the interior or green the color of the car?

    I say the headliner color unless you paint it and the parcel shelf a contrasting color. Mine will be black, the rear quarters are black, the doors are black, with tan door panels and tan seats. My carpet is also black, but my headliner will be tan to match the seats.

    Same as doors (inside), doors same as dash, pillars same as dash. So everything same as dash :2cents:

    Ok I painted it Black it looks good firgured out quickest way to get alot of answers and response is to ad a poll.:thumbs2: It looks good now onto the headliner.... getting closer

    I did mine in black. I tried spray painting it and it looked pretty bad. I went to Home Depot and they had a Rustoleum paint in pint cans that was a black latex, not the oil based paint and rolled it on. It came out looking pretty good. My interior was black with grey seats.:)

    I got some package tray covering from pep boys and covered mine in black.

    They have that but not much else besides beef jerky (next to the candy bars) and pop.
    Curious... What's the material like? Is it like vinyl or fuzzy? I did my origional dash pad with some fuzzy material they had like 15 years ago. Looks like the speaker box material but just a bit fuzzier and black.
