I have a 1971 Comet Gt that was bought new by my mom in 71. I'm now trying to restore it. I was wondering if I should keep the stock rear end or switch to a 9 inch? If so what will fit with out doing any major mods. Also I want to go with disc brakes and install a brake booster' is there any old Fords or Mercury's that might fit so I don't have to purchase high dollar aftermarket stuff? I think some of the newer Maverick's and Comet's have disc brakes but only have 4 lug pattern' I have 5.
