Hi everyone. I'm going to replace my rear leaf springs and i've been wondering what hangars/shackles to get? I've seen some cars where you can really see the shackle and some that are tucked up in. Are those that hang down longer or just a different brand? I'd like to get the back to sit up a little.

New springs will probably sit it up w/o those long shackles. Long shackles are harmful to vehicle handling.

You do NOT want long shackles. They will tear up your car and ruin your new springs.

Unless they're damaged, you should re-use your stock shackles. Install new rubber bushings on them.
New leafsprings should come with new front eye bushings.

I made my own shackles 3/4" longer than stock just to give it a little lift but not stick out.
