rear quarter panels

    my mav has some serious rust on the drivers side rear quarter panel, and lil less severe on the passenger side, i was wondering what is the best way to fix that, i should have pics of it by end of the week.

    Cut out the the damaged section and weld-in new sheet metal. The easiest way is to buy new rear quarter panels and cut what you need from them. I need to do the same thing with mine...

    Where can you get new quarter panels? I dont think I have ever seen a Maverick or Comet without rear quarter panel rust... NEver Ever

    i have rust.....but it was fixed by the previous owner and seems to be doing ok...i am not gonna worry about it since i need to get the car done quickly....and after all it is a hotrod and not a show vehicle...i know i know...fix it right the first time...i just want to get the car done so i can start driving it again

    never say never to no rust i live in the north east and belive it or not i found a rust free mav had some dings and dents bit no ruct at all :)
