I had the Autokrafters/Sherman quarters on mine at one time. They didn't fit right. I got NOS quarters from Green Sales for $300 apiece.

The front corner at the door edge and the rear corner at the spoiler extension were not bent as sharply as OEM, the bends were more rounded. Left some funny looking gaps. The ridge that runs front to back didn't line up with the matching ridge on the door. The original panel forms part of the rear window channel and goes about 2/3 the way up the sail panel towards the roof. The replacements I had stopped about even with the bottom of the rear window. The guy at the body shop who installed the OEM quarters said about the aftermarket parts "they looked kinda funny on the car". That was about 8 or 9 years ago, maybe they're better now. Or maybe I just got a pair that were made on a Monday morning before the guy had enough coffee.

when I bought them, they came clear around the side window, part way up the sail panel as you mentioned , the corners were bent fine on both the front and rear. the 1st set I bought was for the 77 around 1997, the 2nd set I bought for the 72 was just last year.....

I did have to send one back tho..... not due to AK but from some idiot with fed ex stepping on one dead center in the middle of the panel.... and they actually asked me,"well, you can fix it cant ya"...could and will are two different things:slap: they paid for a new one.
