Had an idea the other day, has anyone here done a rear seat delete? I was thinking like the old Shelby's did, where the trunk and rear made a storage area. Are the rear seat supports really needed for structural integrity?
i would say the seat support might be there to help hold the back part of the roof and maybe the rear window. alot fo metal meets there around that area so i would say that they would prolly be needed
Think it would be pretty cool sitting at a car show, people looking at the car and having a video of it running at the track. Its my car....and I can do what I want
I'd say you can take it out as long as you put somethin in it's place think like a carpenter. Put in a header and some jack studs and they will hold up the roof and glass I don't think you ought to just yank it out without re-supporting it Think like Stone henge or the greek letter pi
