Hey guys I was wondering if a pair of rear side panels off a 72' Door would fit in my 71' Grabber? Are the rear seats the same shape?. If so they should fit right?:hmmm:

They might be the same. Just depends on when the 1972 car was built.

If they have humps and holes for a seatbelt .. then they won't fit. If you put a 72 back seat in the 71 then they will work.

I have a very early 72 Comet, and it got the bulged rear side panels and the scalloped rear seat. However, it did not get retractable belts... weird ... It was in the first 1600 Mercs made at KC for 1972... likely in the first few hundreds of Comets made.

To directly answer the question at hand ... if you swap to later panels and seats at the same time, they will all fit together.
