rear seats

    Could somebody help me will the back seat out of a 4door mav will work in a 2door mav? Mine is a 75 2 door, donor seats are out of a 76 4 door. Also, anybody a Sundays pleasure drive from Biloxi, Ms. with a back seat? Thanks everybody!!!!!

    The back seat from your 4 door will fit in the 2 door.

    Once again, you are the man Mike. Found some seats in Colo. Said all he had was 4door seats. That got me thinking that i might not have to look for 2door seats!! Again, THANKS!!!!!!

    Are you sure they work? I don't think they will? I don't know for sure.

    They will go in,but will look awkward.I stuffed some 2 dr.rear seats out of a 72 maverick into a 75 four dr.,they worked,but...they looked funny.The interior panels are shaped totally different,along with the ends of the seats.

    There is no difference on the back seats from 4 dr to 2 dr. The only difference is 1970 models because of the plastic sides with the seat belts are made different.

    OK, I have to correct my self after I just posted. From 74-77 are the same. The earlier ones are different.

    ok, so we all agree seat out of 74-77 will work? Let me throw this at yas, how about a comet? Same deal 74 to 77 comets?

    Thanks to all of you guys for your help!! Nice to know there is a place to go and get help with Mavericks!! Do not plan on selling mine anytime soon, so watch for me from time to time with more questions. Again, thanks
