Rear shackel

    I want to put a offset shackel kit in the rear of my 73...i took of the 2 nuts off the inside... I beat the spring with a sledge...how does it come off being seized so bad?? I don't want to use a torch

    put the nuts on about half way...then tap them with a hammer...:yup:

    spray the bolts that go into the bushings with penetrating oil also.

    Thanks..i got them out...what do guys use for bushing ???

    I used polly on mine, but if you are going to drive it on the street also I'd stick with rubber. Mine had the stock rubber and I assume they were in there since new, and car has seen hundreds of 10sec passes. I just wanted to stiffen things up a little.............IMHO

    rubbers

    picked up all new rubbers at KW springs in kitchener ..they pressed in the new front ones tooo.. $ 62 bucs good deal
