    1974 Maverick Grabber
Hi! from Northern Idaho. Last winter my wife bought a 74 Maverick Grabber. She had it repainted / restored the same red / black color as the one she bought new in 74 and sold in 78 (after we got married) . Will post a picture soon. She loves this car and have shown it twice this year at shows and won a trophy at the Ford show in Spokane Wa. I'm not a Maverick man my self, my show car is a 64 Mercury Marauder Convertible, but I enjoy helping her with he Maverick. Last month I bought a spolier for her Maverick, it didn't fit:( , it was for a 70-73 Maverick. Was there a spolier made for the 74? Please help me out - it was to be a birthday gift :slap:

There was no spoiler made for '74-'77 Mavericks/Comets. Your best bet is to locate a 3rd-generation Firebird/Trans Am rear wing and put that on. They look great on the "big bumper" cars. You can also use a '69-'71 Mustang rear spoiler...

If you look in the parts interchange thread: Spoilers? You'll see pictures of the 69 Mach 1 spoiler on a few Comets & Mavericks. They do look good. I put one on my 73 Comet. Just something to think about. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

Actually the spoiler will bolt on the 74-77 cars but the quarter extensions will have to be modified. I've always figured it wouldnt be too hard. Just bolt on the trunk piece, then mold your existing extensions with fiberglass to match the spoiler. Or modify the bottom of the grabber extensions to match your bumper.
