I just got new 4 Leaf springs and shackles from JCWhitney and KYB GR2 shocks and I am planning on installing them real soon. One question I have though is do I have to use and grease or anything on the rubber bushings, or are they alright without it?

    i use...antiseize... on everything i install...:thumbs2:

i just did my shackle bushings...i had a thread on how...tight...they should be.
what i did was put...GM...adjustable rocker arm nuts...on my shackles...
they are...self locking....by threading them up to...flush...with the bolt, it allowed the shackles to move but had a small amount of compression..

Rubber bushings I spray with silicone lube to help them slide into the springs easier. Polyurethane bushings get a liberal coating of silicone grease to keep 'em from squeeking.
