Well ive decided that it is time to do the rear suspension on the mav. gets a little wavy when i get up to speed. stock leafs and slapper bars. what are some cheap set ups that have been working great for you guys with drag cars, and street strip cars. i was thinkin mono leafs with with cal tracs and qa1 shocks. have a fuel cell and slicks 8 inch rear with 3.80s and a mini spool around 400 horses and should run low 12's high 11's with a good stall if not a little quicker

There was a write-up in MMF about suspension. They wrote about using a panhard bar with leafs and it made a big difference.

    Cheap??? Speed costs!

Do you have a 9 inch?
    Is your rear posi?
    What's your pinion angle?

What you are thinking isn't really cheap but would be sweet for your sixty foots.
Just my .02 but don't do everything twice, if you don't have a 9 get one first and save time and money now because you will get one soon or later!
