    Good evening:

Been a while, have been hard at putting my Pinto wagon back together (hope that's not an infraction - I just read the rules - I have been out here before and talked about it), no disrespect to this fine group.

But not to waste bandwidth, my question still is for those who have knowledge of Ford A/C systems. My car was fitted with dealer installed A/C, and since the system is 35 years old, I am in the process of renewing/refreshing it as my car is pieced back together. New hoses, conversion to R134A, new compressor, new expansion valve, cleanup of the evaporator.....

My question is, would anyone have a recommendation for a good CROSS FLOW condensor, and/or a company that would make these that will fit my car? My original is quite crusty, and I'd rather go "new" than "reuse"...

    THANKS for any appropriate advice.

    Chris

You could contact Classic Air and I'm sure they can get one made. They had one made for my Maverick that fit well. It didn't happen to be a cross flow but it could have been if I'd asked for it.
