I'm watching a 1970 red Maverick named "Red Dog", on Pinks All Out. Anyone on this board own it? It wouldn't start. Russell Boyce is the owner.... Then he wins against a Camaro. On the Maverick, his battery is dying...
Need him in the finals. Come on, start... He'll be facing a 65 Nova SS. Chevy vs Ford showdown... Here we go. First one to win 2 races is the winner. Maverick loses the first round. Hot lapping. Maverick broke. He overheated.... Bummer.... Chevy wins. At Zmax raceway in Concord....

In a way I agree. But at the same time, Rich is what makes pinks what it is. People know him a mile away. It'd be like Baywatch without Pam :)

Hello all. My name is Russell Boyce. I was racing my Maverick at the Pinks all Out in Concord. I just found this site and joined. I appreciate the you fellow Ford/Maverick oweners. We seem to be few and far between. When we got down to the final eight there were only two Fords left and they put us against each other.

Welcome aboard Russell! That was a great showing and representation for the Mavericks! Too bad you didn't get to finish it out. Great looking car. (y)

Welcome Russell! We just watched Pinks and were pulling for you! Maybe you can get'em next time! Great to see a Mav make it as far as you did. Like Rodney Dangerfield, we don't get no respect!

I think you did out f%&$ing standing. The hot lap racing is BS. You made the Dodge and Chevy take notice. The BS they were putting out during your problems was to much drama.
