Remote mirror hole location

    I’m swapping a remote mirror from a 4dr parts car onto my 2dr and have to obviously drill a hole. I measured the hole location on the 4dr but not sure if it would be the same location an a 2dr. Does the green cross in the pic look like the correct location? IMG_1343.jpeg

    That looks good front to rear. I would center it on the flat part of the panel, move it up a bit.
    Something else to know, it is not just a round hole. There is a tab that extends into the hole to keep the housing from rotating. I believe it comes down from the top. It has been years since I have looked at mine apart.

    Thank you for the confirmation on the location. I have the door I pulled the mirror from so I will copy the way the hole is cut.
