Removal of the EGR valve

    The EGR valve on a 250ci is below the carburetor.

    Do I need a spacer to remove this? If so, where can I purchase one? Is this part specific to the Maverick, or is it good on all 250s (post-'74)?

    Remove the EGR spacer and all the crap that is attached, then put the carb back on the intake.

    At least this is what I did on my 302, hope the 250 is as simple.

    You need to find a spacer without the egr valve. I think the older pickups do not have the egr valve. You cann't put the carb on the intake. It will not fit.

    i Took the egr off on my 302 and put a home made plate on top
