removing chrome from plastic

    :huh: What is the best way to remove chrome from plastic sport lamp bezels?I could,nt locate any that were originally black.

    if i remember right from my model days. i used easy off oven cleaner. try on a test spot first.

    Thanks,I,ll give it a shot.I tried sanding,I,m concerned about removing too much plastic,because the chrome was bubbled up, had to use too rough of grit.Plus I absolutly detest sanding,in the wrong hobby huh? ha ha
