I'm trying to paint my dash (the metal part above the glove box) and I can't figure out how to get the maverick emblem off other than breaking it off. Is there a secret to this? Or do you just rip it off and try to find another one?

I can't seem to get to the nut on the back. There's no way to reach up that far into the dash. What do you have to remove to get to it?

It's a lot easier to remove the emblem if you take off the lower part of the dash first. You won't have to reach so far up under the dash to get to it then.
