removing dash

    yep cant figure out how to get the damn thing out! some help would be greatly apprieciated. also i just got the mav outta the body shop looks pretty good, ill post some pics tomorrow:yup:

    first thing, take out the windshield, there are screws up front you must take out, then unbolt the package tray or lower dash. Lastly unbolt the dash from below and pull it out...oh yeah disconnect all wires and speedo cable...

    I took my dash out without removing the windshield... guess I did it the hard way. :huh:

    I had to take my windshield out.

    Ford made the 5 or 6 screws in the front go up and down instead of at an angle. When I put the dash back in, there are going to be some modifications.

    There are some good threads about taking the dash out while leaving in the windshield if you do a quick search.

    the front screws are sometimes under the lip of the seal and that makes them a (boy dog) to get to. the dash was put in before the windshield at the factory..frank...:bouncy:

    The popups you refer to are probably the text windows that come up when you hover over the pictures to give more explanation. Other than that I have no advertising of any kind, popup or otherwise.
    I wrote that page a long time ago before pop blockers and whatnot...One of these days I will have to rewrite it differently...
