I'm trying to remove the dried up wax that whoever previously did it left in every crack and crevice. I'm looking for something faster that what i've been trying to use which is a toothbrush and a deck of cards lol.

It needs to be safe for the paint, rubber trim, chrome pretty much everything since they got it everywhere

Darren had mentioned Varsol in another thread, but I did a google search which didn't lead to anyplace that had it readily available?

3M makes a Wax and Adhesive remover. I have used it.

You can get it at Advance Auto parts for around $10 a can.

3M Adhesive and Wax Remover is a powerful cleaner that removes sticky contaminants, like bugs, tar, tree sap, and glue. In just minutes, remove the most stubborn spots from paint, vinyl, and glass. 3M Adhesive and Wax Remover takes off the tough stuff, leaving your vehicle totally clean.

There are some car contaminants that just can't be removed by washing. For example, sticker adhesive and tree sap can seem like they're cemented to the paint for life! Fortunately, 3M Adhesive and Wax Remover penetrates and removes the stickiest grime without harming most cured paint finishes. Use 3M Adhesive and Wax Remover on exterior glass and vinyl, too. The fast-acting formula removes all sticky residue, like it was never there.

3M Adhesive and Wax Remover is a glue remover and a wax remover. It works on any silicone or wax product. If you got wax on unintended areas of the vehicle, 3M Adhesive and Wax Remover will remove all trace of the wax so you're left with a blank canvas. Always follow 3M Adhesive and Wax Remover with a fresh coat of wax.

3M Adhesive and Wax Remover also removes grease and oil. It leaves auto surfaces residue-free.

3M Adhesive and Wax Remover is packaged in an aerosol for easy application. Simply spray it on and wipe off.

Remove unwanted adhesives, wax, grease, and silicone residues with 3M Adhesive and Wax Remover.

    12 oz.

You could try a 1" wide paint bush, just cut it down about 3/4 of it's length, makes it a little stiffer.

Varsol, is the "Canadian" brand name of mineral spirits, any hardware store will have it.

Varsol, is a trade mark owned by Imperial Oil, which is really Exxon...it doesn't make sense..we don't have Exxon in Canada, we have Esso...which if you see the 2 side by side, they look the same???
In every other country than the USA, Exxon is know as Esso....weird...

We call them serviettes, so they don't get mixed up with the sanitary napkins....

Thanks everyone i'll try some of the things mentioned. I'm mostly worried about the trim package since I assume the black insert between the trim is just held by adhesive I dont want to use anything that will eat away the adhesive and loosen it.
