dan, there's some places where i can't get a razor at.wasn't sure if there was something on the market just for this.i was thinking lighter fluid,or acetone, but wasn't sure if it would hurt the glass or not.

    chuck.

I got to thinkin bout just that, and came back to tell ya that I have used lacquer thinner. But ya got to be careful round the paint. Acetone would probably work too. Seems a rag with some solvent in it will allow you to rub it off. I have never hurt any glass with lacquer thinner, or acetone. Dunno bout lighter fluid, cept this one time a buddy of mine got lazy and decided all that paint stripper on that big ole hood would work much better if fire was applied. Worked real good,,,, they hauled off the burnt mess a couple days later.

Gasket remover in an aerosol can may work. I get it at Autozone. It is designed for the blue RTV type stuff. Works really well. It's silicon based, so it would probably work ok.
