Removing the vinyl from the top of a '72

    Anyone know how to go about removing the vinyl from the top of the car?

    gently remove the chrome trim holding it down. once thats out of the way just start yankin. the vinyl is glued down to the paint so dont expect to have nice looking presentable paint underneath but pulling the top will keep your roof from rusting apart. after its off you'll ned to sand the glue residue off or use sometype of chemical stripping to get it off
