Question: Where is the best place to get replacement rocker panels? I see AutoKrafters sells them, but I do not know how good the quality is etc? Any alternatives or suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your input!

I know JC Whitney sells them also. I don't know about the quality there either.

I can get them through one of my suppliers. I used them on my Stallion as one of them was fubar. The quality was good. E-mail me if you're interested and I'll get you a quote and time frame.

    Thanks Corbin and Wes!

Looks like JC Whitney specifies that it is 20 gauge steel, but Auto Krafters doesn't specify.

Anyone try either of these before? Happy with product? Other suggestions?

Note that the AutoKrafters rocker panels are not full rockers . Not sure how bad your rockers are but keep that in mind. I would guess they only cover the door opening but perhaps someone that has bought the could shed the light. I put a set of NOS full rockers in that I picked up from http://www.greensalescompany.com. There was also a set not long ago on eBay - not sure if they sold or not.

Here are my pics of the rockers ...

Be advised that there are only 1 or 2 manufacturers of these parts. Chances are that your buying the same part no matter where you send your money. Go with the best deal.

    Thanks!

Corbin, thanks for the heads up! I need both sides, not rotted. Looks like someone put the jack in the wrong place! :(

Good luck with your project. Don't you hate it when a simple mistake (jack on the rocker) from someone in the past causes you so much grief?
