Jim; I have American Racing caps, and they have holes in the caps, under the covers. I just put a small dowell or something small in there and pushed them out. I tore up a couple of them, but then again, I wanted the Maverick covers from Dan on there, and it turned out pretty good.

the center caps i have are the ones for the magnum 500 wheels and the decal sets about 1/4 in inside the center cap and there is no way to get to it from behind because it has a backing that is potrivited to it and i am not going to try to remove the backing plate but i also don't want to scratch up the new center caps trying to dig the mustang decal out ether.

    thanks for your reply

Drill a hole from the back side of the cap. Don't go all the way through the existing emblem. Then just do what Earl did.

If you do as above drill it into the center in an effort to keep the cap balanced.

For the magnum 500's you can get blank chrome caps. Sell the Mustang ones.

Why not just put the Maverick emblem over the mustang one?
