Im working on a 72 comet that Im replacing the cowl. The car has absolutely no rust except for the drivers side cowl which I am replacing. The problem is that the last owner went crazy with cutting and fiberglass and covered up the drivers side cowl spot. My question is does anyone know if the drivers side is supposed to have the cowl ring and air inlet? I just read that factory A/C comets didnt have a drivers side air inlet.

Yeah my car had factory A/C on it. Looks like this is going to be an easy fix.

I remember when I still worked full time. I hated it when the boss said this is going to be an easy job.:biglaugh:
