My buddy has a set of racing mirrors which are in great shape, except the mirror glass is scratched. I've seen replacement glass on ebay & was wondering if anybody has done a replacement on the glass like I'd like to do on these mirrors? They seem to be glued or bonded on to the backplate, I especially don't want to break or stretch out the driver remote mirror cables & screw it up. Any suggestions???

It might be cheaper to deal with your local auto glass shop than eBay?

The local parts store also carry the glass. If its an OE type.

Local glass shop did my passenger side for $25. I carried them the inside, they cut and glued mirror in, I brought back home and installed the screw, done!
