Earl Branham on here referred me to a guy that has done some great upholstery work for him, he looked at mine today and said he can do it without pulling the windows and guarantees the job, he ordered the material and is sewing it himself and all for $250 total. Has anyone had it done without pulling the windows and was it OK?
I paid to have mine installed in my Maverick. Me and a buddy put his in his Comet last weekend, now I know why I paid someone to do mine.
This will give you an idea of how its done. http://www.mustangmonthly.com/proje..._mustang_hardtop_headliner_install/index.html I did one in a VW Beetle. It was far from perfect but THINK I can do it better the second time. I have a new headliner but haven't decided if I'll do it myself or hire it done. Will depend on the cost to have an expert do it.
