rim qwestion??

i ran across a great deal on some 15x10 anson sprints. whats the biggest tire i can run on my mav with out rubbing or tubbing? im also going to use a 1" spacer to convert them from cheby lug to ford. eny help would be exelent.

 

a 10" wide rim and a 1" adapter is going to put it way too far outside of the wheel well....

 

o man you cant run 10s on a mav?

 

u can but depending on the backspacing, you're gonna have problem with the tires hitting the quarters

 

your going to want to have about 4-4.5 inch of backspacing to make those fit somewhat

 

what exsactly is back spacing?

 

my good buddy pete sead i would have to baseball bat roll the lip

 

the rims are like the second one the back spacing is 4" but i need a convershion washer thats an inch thick
