I have been thinking about upgreading rims For my 72 maverick.
I was thinking 15x8 with a 0 offset both front and rear or
15x7 0 offset front and 15x9 0 offset in the rear.
If any one has done any thing like that show off some
    Pictures.

I just had these put on last night. 15X7 W/0 offset front and rear. I don't think 15X9 with 0 offset will fit on the rear. There is only about 3/4 inch between the rear tire and the spring. Front tire is a 215r70 and the rear is 255r70

I had 235-60-15s mounted on 15x7 rim..front and back on my stock worn suspension and 235 is about max. max for back im not sure on but I would say a 245-60-15. but i think someone may have put a 255/60 with no hammer mod or wheel lip mods
I think i had about 1/2 an inch between tire and leaf..maybe 1 inch with 235 on 15x7 4.25 BS

What if you minitub to the frame rail, and remove the rearend bumper plate thats in the center of the rear wheel well? What could you stuff in there? I am in the process of doing all this -- but not sure if I want to go the full extent of minitubbing, rolling fender for a additional inch :/ -- now if it was a few inches then yes..

I'd love to go 255-265 in the rears, and 225 in the fronts :) oh and on 17's on the back, 16's on the front. Staggered, and Raked.

mini tub you could probably sutff a 275-60 or 295-50 on 15x10s under there

17+ you can go wider with less work stock or tub as hthey're typically not 27 or 28n tall and sidewalls are flat and not bulged like 14s/15s
