It has been 7 long years since this car has seen it's weight on any tires... There is a lot of work still to do, this may be the year Attached Thumbnails
Great progress today, slid the motor in for a 2nd test fit. I am going to make the T-5 crossmemeber next week along with moving the steering shaft 3/4 for the headers. Then pull the motor combo again to finish some hidden wiring and brake lines.
Awesome, Id like to see how you finish up where the back window was. You need to strengthen the windshield frame too? That car has great lines to it.
I was fortunate to have hired a retired metal man at work and he helped on the rear window and windshield fab. The body line that is at the rear window follows the area that was removed at the back glass area around to the other side. The door window area was filled and rounded to simulate a roadster style. We welded the angles on the door to hold the mirrors. Laast weekend I made the t-5 trans. carrier and finished the steering. (yeah) Now I am going to finish the radiator area and then work on flipping the hood similiar to my orange one.
